Celebrating Arna Mae’s Australian citizenship

Arna Mae hails from Cebu City, Philippines and first came to Australia with her mother on 2009. Mely, her mother, was successfully sponsored as a Beauty Therapist and when her mother started working in Australia, Arna Mae was also able to join her mother too. Arna Mae spent her high school adjusting to the Australian lifestyle and she truly loves it.

“Skilled workers who are sponsored to work in Australia have the privilege of having their families join them whilst they live and work in Australia. Skilled workers in other countries would have to bear the separation from their families and not only is this hard but also arduous, for the workers and the families they leave behind. Sponsored work in Australia allow families to stay together and we are here to make that happen,” assures Margie Dizon, Registered Migration Agent for Migration Corporation of Australia.

Arna Mae has now moved her career from hospitality to health care and with her Australian citizenship and passport, she can travel the world as she pleases. Ready to change your life forever like Arna’s? Want to get your family onshore and call Australia home? Call Migration Corporation of Australia Migration Agents, Cecilia or Margie, for your visa needs. Call us now at +618 8948 1995 or contact us online to secure yours now.

Celebrating success with the Patchaye family!

We are so blessed to have been part of the Patchaye family’s journey in securing their permanent residency. Thank you to Steven and Priscilla Patchaye and of course to sponsor employers Jamie and Naomi Morris for their full trust with each of our recommendation and advice. The road was very challenging for the Patchaye family having been invited to apply for PR eleven years ago whilst they still lived in Mauritius however their agent (at the time) passed away and Immigration not contacting the family at the right time caused irreversible damage. Steven then took it upon himself to re-train and obtained a student visa, qualifying as a Retail Manager and being sponsored by the Morris family. The first case officer refused the nomination believing that the company did not require a Manager. We had to prepare very well for the tribunal and we won with flying colours!!!! Fast forward to now, the department has finalised their visa applications lodged nearly four years ago. The sweet, sweet taste of success is amazing!

We love changing lives and we love that our families are now secure in Australia – with the work we love doing.

We are blessed to experience all the joys and celebrations that visa grant, permanent residency and Australian citizenship brings families in Australia. Our migration agent success rate is second to none. Need practical immigration advice and assistance? Call us on +618 89481995.

Celebrations all around for our Italian Chef extraordinaire Matteo Cadoni!

Celebrations all around for our Italian Chef extraordinaire Matteo Cadoni!!! For quite some time, Matteo has always loved our posts of visa grants, hoping that one day, it will be his story that we will tell. Today is the day. Matteo’s journey was not the easiest and could certainly have been the most trying and arduous. He had to beat change of circumstances, sponsors and employer, the legislation changing, his 457 visa expiring and having to fly all the way to the Philippines to sit the IELTS. Lo and behold, after turning up at the test centre with casual clothes on, he was turned away! Quick thinking on his feet and a helpful staff at the office, he ‘leased’ appropriate clothes to make it on time to beat the deadline and pass with flying colours!!! Baking croissants which is not an Italian cuisine was a stickler (which he still passed) for his skills assessment.

Fast forward to now, we are reeling with celebrations of joy to the culmination of Matteo’s Australian visa journey. We are very thankful indeed. He chose us from the start of his journey right to the very end. Join us with congratulating him – by getting him to cook you the best breakfast with a smile at Cafe Bellissimo located at the Homemaker’s Village and soon, back at Coolalinga (watch this space). Thank you, Matteo, for choosing Migration Corporation of Australia to hold your hand in your victorious journey!!! Australian permanent residency (RSMS) granted with no questions asked!!! Aren’t we amazing it or are we not amazing?!! Hahaha.

We are blessed to experience all the joys and celebrations that permanent residency brings families in Australia. Our registered migration agent success rate is second to none. Need practical immigration advice and assistance? Call us on +618 89481995.

Celebrating with Jenny Pham

We are building a talented and skilled Australia! Celebrating our new Australian citizen Jenny Pham.

Jenny’s story is a testament to what can be achieved when you work hard and seek the right advice. ‘Jenny is a bastion of hope to the community,’ Margie says. ‘She signifies a young professional who is ethical and motivated in her work, which rewarded her with her employer supporting her goal of obtaining permanent residency in Australia.’

During her first years in Darwin, Jenny Pham was so stressed about her visa application process she struggled to study or even sleep at night. The turning point came when she acknowledged her residency was far too complex for her to do on her own and sought the advice of MCA’s migration agents Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega. ‘Margie and Cecilia are really knowledgeable about migration law,’ Jenny says. Armed with updated knowledge of the migration legislation, Jenny confidently approached her employer who willingly sponsored her as a graduate accountant. ‘Knowing someone was looking after my paperwork really helped me,’ says Jenny. ‘I always recommend MCA; you get the personal touch and they are flexible with time. I couldn’t meet during work hours and they were always accommodating around that. Margie’s expertise as a psychologist also really helped me. I was really stressed but she was able to calm me down. The way she talks to you and understands you is so much better than other migration agents and lawyers.’
Jenny’s world view changed forever when she made the most important and informed decision of her life with regards to her options for permanent residency, all made possible by consulting and appointing Migration Corporation of Australia. Jenny has since helped create a forum to help new migrants settle in Australia, encouraging everyone to get accurate and up-to-date immigration advice instead of relying on what ‘everyone’ says. Without the advice from MCA, Jenny probably would have missed the opportunity to live and work in Australia forever. Now, as an Australian citizen, Jenny’s parents and younger brother are migrating permanently too, because of the informed decision she was able to make, thanks to Margie and Cecilia.

Joy celebrates with her head held up high

After nearly 8 years in the territory, she celebrates with her head held up high. She started her journey on a student visa and having experienced many challenges, including very low times in her life and having to extend her candidature to complete her degree in Nursing, she persisted. Delays with her assessments with AHPRA and ANMAC meant she had to consider other pathways to extend her stay. Joy completed her initial nursing degree in the Philippines and came to Darwin, Australia to upgrade her qualifications to Australian standards. Thankfully, due to her commitment in getting employment in her field and with the immigration advice and assistance from Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega of Migration Corporation of Australia, meant that the NT Government recognised and awarded her Expression of Interest (EOI) with an invitation for permanent residency.
According to Joy, preparation and accurate advice from experts is key to her success. We were curious as to what prompted her to seriously seek accurate and advice from experienced Migration Agents, given she has been in the country for close to 8 years and that visa applications were no longer unfamiliar to her. Free information over the web could easily be misinterpreted and acknowledging that her situation is very different from friends, she decided to pursue the help of experienced Migration Agents to clarify her options for permanent migration to Australia.
“My sister told me to go and see the experts at Migration Corporation of Australia because they know many things that I didn’t know. First of all, I did not even know I was eligible to apply for the 190. Why would I waste my time and money on hearsay? I would rather spend it on [myself] to see an expert. At least I am confident that what Migration Corporation experts will tell me is something they study about regularly and through professional development trainings. I needed to focus,” Joy confidently agrees. She claims that had she listened to free advice, she would not have received any assurances that what she would be doing would be correct.
“I made a mistake in working the whole time. Kung work ka nang work dito tapos hindi mo naman naasikaso ang [visa] situation mo dito, paano ka maka-work nang mas mahaba pa?” [“If you keep working and working and you do not appropriately deal with your visa situation, how else can you work longer in Australia?”]. As a former international student who has recently obtained her permanent residency through territory government sponsorship, she advises managing time wisely, especially devoting the appropriate time to study their courses and to plan ahead to do what is necessary to become eligible for government sponsorship (including taking leave from work, if necessary, to seek expert migration assistance). She humbly talks about her mistakes and generously shares her positive learnings throughout her journey.
We are so excited with the rest of Joy’s journey in Australia as a Registered Nurse. We salute you, your commitment and your contribution to our community!!

Steve and Eyve’s dream for Aisyah

Published on the NT News Australia Day feature:
Once upon a time, Steve and Eyve Johnstone’s dream was to share their beautiful life in Australia with daughter Aisyah. Migration Corporation of Australia duo Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega have made it come true.
Eyve and Steve Johnstone, successful business owners of UB Cool in Darwin, initially thought that Aisyah would never be able to join them in Australia. Aisyah stayed back with her grandmother in Indonesia whilst her mother Eyve made the move to Australia to live with husband Steve many years ago. Confusing information made Eyve and Steve believe that they could never get their daughter to come and live with in Australia. Everything changed when they met Margie and Cecilia.
“We already knew a lot about visas but there was a lot of stress with sponsoring our daughter. We had to get expert help and we got the best advice every step of the way. We are so relieved that Migration Corporation duo Margie and Cecilia have helped keep our family together in Australia. They took care of everything, they made it all easy and we are now one happy family in Darwin,” Steve and Eyve
shared with genuine appreciation.
This year, Aisyah is now eligible for Australian citizenship. She now enjoys the opportunity most Australians have – to pursue a career and study at a university of her own choosing. The Australian life that Eyve and Steve enjoys, they now share with their daughter. Margie confirms “we truly care about families’ future together in Australia and it is important to us that they are aware of all the options that are available to them to make that happen.”
Stressed and anxious about your visa situation? Want to keep your family in Australia? Enjoy the Australian life and be one of the many successful stories that our migration agents, Margie and Cecilia, have already helped create.

Inspiring journey of Fon and Jin

Fon and Jin’s journey is truly inspiring. When I met Fon a few years ago, she was a student in Australia who fell in love. When she realised she made a mistake, she knew she just had to get her way out of that relationship. It was very hard, with the pressure of avoiding abusive calls and texts from her ex who couldn’t accept the fact that she wasn’t going to tolerate bad behaviour. It wasn’t until some considerable time after that she met Lip and he couldn’t have come at a better time. It was a very stressful road, with all the paperwork required and having to retell the traumatic experience to lawyers, the police, and counsellors. When the tribunal decided her evidence of suffering violence wasn’t enough for the decision-maker, we knew they made a mistake and so we appealed the decision at the Federal Circuit Court. Jin was there pushing and encouraging her in all the right ways.
Listening to the judge retell the story in detail, somehow traumatising, we all felt squirmish as we listened to it. Thankfully, his vindication moved to a different tone when he agreed with us; that the mistake we found, according to the law, was indeed an error. It was so elating. Finally, someone important and high enough in the system agreed that we were right, and that someone we knew who did wrong, was proven to be wrong. Jurisdictional error. What powerful words when the pathway of your future depends on it. When something you believe in to be true is indeed true and what you know is wrong, is still wrong.
We are always humbled with the love we witness in front of us. When everyone else would have gone home, sulked or just given up, Jin and Fon didn’t. Jin made sure Fin didn’t. This photo of them at our office says a thousand words of appreciation. Everything we fought for and still do have been worthwhile. It is a great win. I know there will be more beautiful moments like this to witness with Jin and Fon. After all, if they managed to stand against a giant and win, everything else will now be easy. We are privileged to be holding their hand from then to now. We cannot wait for the many exciting things their lives are yet to bring! How is it possible to find a person who can love you like that? Where does one get the strength to fight against a tribunal’s decision?
We were there at the start and we are still here at the finish line. You choose the person to love and we will fight with you to keep them here. Celebrating with Diana, Peter and Loedel!

When we first met Peter Skehan, all he wanted was for his Filipina girlfriend Diana to come over and join him in Australia. It was important to him that Diana would like his lifestyle in the bush before settling down together. He also wanted to provide a positive and bright future to Diana’s four children, all living and studying in the Philippines.

Today brought many tears of joy to Diana Lopez Skehan, her son Loedel and her husband Peter’s eyes as we celebrated Diana obtaining per permanent residency at the same time as her first born son, Loedel. Her other kids are following and Peter’s dream is all coming true. Migration Agents, Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega, were the trusted agents that helped Peter and Diana stay together in Australia right from the start. Exciting journey of Chef Reinhold and family

Our work brings the most exciting outcomes for families: Permanent Residency in Australia!!! Congratulations Chef Reinhold, his wife Ryann and children Red Xyrus and Ron Sean for obtaining their permanent residency.

We first met Rein when he had to leave his employment in Broome to pursue a brighter future. Thankfully, through his friends, he was recommended to go to Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega of Migration Corporation of Australia for local, expert immigration advice. Since then, he was able to do a nomination transfer successfully and now the fruits of his labour has blessed his family with permanent residency in Australia.
Reinhold is very appreciative of the support he has behind his work sponsorship at Darwin Free Spirit Resorts. His journey would have been impossible without the help and push from Chef extraordinaire Neil Salonga.

Momentous event for Gilbert Panitan!

We celebrate a momentous event with Gilbert Panitan as an Australian citizen, witnessing him take his oath to be an Aussie!!! He is a valiant of hope for the many Filipinos and overseas workers alike. He started his journey more than ten years ago as a sponsored worker and fast forward to now, he runs his own company, BlitzFix ICT Services in the Northern Territory. “Gilbert was clearly one of the top applicants for the IT job and we assisted the employer who sponsored him choose the best applicants and potential migrant to Australia,” Margie Dizon, Registered Migration Agent for Migration Corporation of Australia Pty Ltd clearly remembers.

“There are many pathways to come and live, work and study in Australia. Celebrating the love of Nina (Patimaphon) and Richard for each other!

We celebrate the love and commitment that Nina (Patimaphon) and Richard have for each other.

Richard knew at the start that applying and obtaining a visa for the love of his life was one of the most important things he would ever decide to do.

After a very thorough review of migration agents in the Northern Territory, he knew through recommendations of his friends, that the help he needed was what he could find with Migration Corporation of Australia P/L.
According to Richard, who spoke honestly from his experience that “you have to have the right information. And that’s the key to anybody who’s doing this and to get all the information to the right people, and they’ll look after you”. Knowing what the right information was important to Richard and being able to rely on Registered Migration Agents Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega was just as important.
“We simplified the process and explained to them, in a language and manner that they understand, how to successfully apply for and obtain the partner visa. There are many free information on the internet but you have to know which one is the correct one. Our role is to ensure you have accurate and up to date information about your visa options so that you can do it right the first time,” Margie explains.
The outcome is phenomenal and they now cannot wait to start their own family knowing Nina can live in Australia with Richard, happily ever after!
Richard further explains that the first (temporary visa grant) was a big win and the permanent residency grant has given them a ”massive relief, again, that we can move, definitely move on and do lots more things than we expected to do in the next couple of years…we are really happy and relieved. And now we don’t have to worry about anything at all. We thank Migration Corporation of Australia Margie Dizon and Cecilia Dela Vega for helping us with our wins and being with us every step of the way.”
Accurate and up to date information will make anyone confident with the process. Ready to change your life? Be one of the success stories we can help create! Read more at http://3.104.30.167/testimonials

Before you book your flight

It is recommended to make sure you are:

(a) aware of the quarantine arrangements for each state or territory to which you are travelling. If you are having to travel via another Australian city before you reach your final destination, you also need to check the domestic travel restrictions for each state and territory.

The quarantine arrangements are available for:

  • New South Wales
  • Victoria
  • Queensland
  • South Australia
  • Western Australia
  • Tasmania
  • Northern Territory
  • Australian Capital Territory

(b) have your International Vaccination Certificate or foreign vaccination certificate ready.

(c) Complete an Australian Travel Declaration form at least 72 hours prior to your departure from your country of origin;

(d) Produce a negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result taken within 3 days before your scheduled flight departure, unless you are exempt;

(e) at the airport, present items from (b), (c) and (d) to airline staff as well as your visa that is valid to enter Australia.
