Celebrating Georgios’ permanent residency in Australia

Georgios and his whole family couldn’t be more happier. We have successfully obtained Georgios’ permanent residency in Australia!

It was love at first sight for Popy and Georgios when they first met in Darwin, Australia. Georgios was on holiday visiting his brother. When Georgios returned home to Greece, Popy and Georgios realised they couldn’t live without each other and so began the process to get Georgios a visa in Australia. George was stressed out and unable to work on his tourist visa as he desperately wanted to provide for his wife and unborn twins. George was able to start work straight away and two days after they secured the partner visa for George, their beautiful baby twins were born.

Margie says the challenge was keeping the family composed during such a stressful time, however Popy insists that was not the case. ‘Margie made everything easy, no stress! Everything was in order! We would catch up for a coffee and sign all the paperwork,’ says Popy.‘I love Darwin,’ says Popy. ‘I love the tropical weather, the opportunities available here and the diversity. Learning about other people’s cultures and experiencing their food is amazing. Food is life!’ Georgios has also fallen in love with his new home, enjoying family life as well as his work as a plasterer. Like many Territorians, his favourite hobbies are fishing and hunting.
