Carmelita Batingal Lownds and Arna-Mae Villavelez, mother and daughter, initially came to Australia four years ago as Carmelita was sponsored as a Beauty Therapist. Four years of residing in Darwin then meeting Martin has added excitement in her life. Carmelita is also a very proud mother to Arna-Mae who has been juggling work and studies. Arna-Mae works part time between Anita’s Beauty Salon in Parap Village and Antiquity Cafe at the Darwin Waterfront.
